"Explore My Black History" is an online hands-on, interactive workshop designed for children in 2nd to 6th grade. This workshop encourages young participants to discover their family's rich history by interviewing parents, grandparents, and other relatives, and exploring family traditions, recipes, sayings, and primary sources such as photos and family Bibles. Through this exploration, children will create a "time tree" that traces their family history as far back as possible.
Workshops are held on Friday and Saturday of at 4 p.m. PST.
The next workshops are:
September 27th and 28th
October 25th and 26th
